Appointment of Simon Harrison as Chief Executive Officer of Ultimate Products

We're delighted to announce the appointment of Simon Harrison as Chief Executive Officer of Ultimate Products.

Simon is currently CEO of Princes Group PLC and will join Ultimate Products as CEO designate on 5 September 2026 before assuming the role of CEO on 26 October 2026. He brings over 25 years' FMCG commercial and leadership experience spanning brand and trade marketing, sales and operations.

Commenting on his appointment, Christine Adshead, Ultimate Products' Chair, said:

Simon brings outstanding leadership qualities, strong operating discipline and considerable commercial experience, and we are confident that he has the right credentials to take Ultimate Products forward into its next chapter. We look forward to welcoming him to the team.

At the same time, we say a heartfelt thank you to two people who have been instrumental in building the business we are today.

Andrew Gossage, who has given more than 20 years in executive roles, will step down as CEO in October, before becoming a Non-Executive Director in May 2027. Among many achievements, he has driven our evolution from a sourcing business into the Home of Brands, grown our online business and led our groundbreaking automation programme.

Simon Showman founded Ultimate Products in 1997 and led it for 27 years, bringing the entrepreneurial spirit and commercial instincts that have shaped everything we are. Simon will move to a Non-Executive Director role from 1 June 2026, while continuing as President and Founder.
